Rebecca was an Ambassador for the Foundation in raising awareness that the Darling Downs area needed a Cancer Centre which could care people with all types of cancer. Rebecca was an Ambassador for the Foundation in raising awareness that the Darling Downs area needed a Cancer Centre which could care people with all types of cancer. Sadly, Rebecca passed away in February 2025. Her cause continues on by her supporters. In November 2023, Rebecca and her husband Shaun received the terrible news she was suffering from bowel cancer. Shortly after, Rebecca became an ambassador.
Being an ambassador, Rebecca shared the dreams and aspirations of the Foundation in raising funds to bring the Regional Cancer Centre into reality. These dreams and aspirations continue through Rebecca's determination to achieve her dream.
Today, Clivia Country aka MONCLIVE Clivias shares her dream and in order to raise funds for the Foundation, 2 fundraising ventures have been prepared.

In Loving Memory of Beck
In 2023, Beck, after some google-doctoring visited her GP with what she thought was a UTI, after some tests her results came back as diverticulitis, an inflammation and infection in the colon. The last thing Beck had on her mind was cancer. But after some more testing, visits to the doctor and eventually an emergency visit to the Toowoomba Hospital she was diagnosed with bowel cancer – at only 43 years old.
We honour the life and legacy of Beck Johnson, our beloved Regional Cancer Centre Ambassador, who sadly passed away in February 2025. Beck courageously shared her journey to raise awareness and support for others facing similar challenges.
Beck's unwavering commitment to the Regional Cancer Centre campaign was instrumental in advancing our mission. Her efforts have left an indelible mark on the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and the broader community.
In Honour of her remarkable contributions, we will continue to remember and celebrate Beck as our Ambassador, ensuring her legacy endures in the ongoing work of the Regional Cancer Centre.
